Declarations of Non-violence

Writing a declaration of non-violence?

A SUPPORT GUIDE

PART ONE

Dear viewer,

This here- now, is the part where we- here, at UUGCCR, invite, and encourage you- to become a participant- in the process of helping to catalyze a quantum shift in human consciousness, in order that we individual humans, who are interconnected as one being- do not end up self-destructing as a species- called humanity, on a planet, called Earth.

What if you, that is each and every one of you, has within you the intrinsic potentiality- to change the world? And what if it were possible to activate this intrinsic potentiality, simply through the proactive act of- THINKING?

What if it were an existential imperative endemic to the continuance of humanity- that each and every one of us, in whatever way, pay particular attention to the state of humanity as a whole?

“Oh, Hey, I hear You Say- you know, but how?’

So here is a potential how:

In a hundredth, monkey kind of a way, or better to say-  through morphic resonance, in a Rupert Sheldrake kind of a way, there is a quantum morphic resonant field that is the collective consciousness of all humanity. Imagine that a vast expanse of still water is the substrate upon which consciousness- which is constituted of memory imprints itself. Like a pebble dropped into still water- the concentric rings go out and eventually you don't see them anymore, but they do actually continue to infinity. O u r thoughtforms and emotions are like those pebbles. At the quantum level, the whole is always greater than the sum of the parts. This is how harmonic resonance works. In the manner in which the b flat on two or more different instruments interact, or our thoughts act as frequencies, which interact or resonate with each other; Our thoughts act as frequencies; Love resonates with love, compassion resonates with compassion, hatred resonates with hatred, and violence resonates with violence, anger resonates with anger and so on, and so forth. And the whole is always greater than the sum of the parts. In the manner in which the universe forms areas of greater, and lesser density- thereby forming vacuums, and galaxies, and stars, and planets, and black hole, our thoughtforms, and emotions- condense, and coalesce in the same way, into areas of greater, and greater density. In the m a n n e r in which gravity is the curvature of space around an object of material density, thoughtforms, and emotions can form bodies of density- which can bend the space in the morphic field, forming a kind of quantum gravitation, if you will. If a particular thoughtform, or emotion becomes massive enough, though it be ill-advised or not- it can act in the same manner, as a metaphysical black hole in the morphic resonant quantum field.

This is the manner in which predominant ways of thinking tend to dominate, annihilate, and obliterate other thoughtforms- that are not in concurrence with them. There are many examples in history of thoughtforms- which turned out to be fatally flawed, such as the Earth is the center of the universe.

Through science, humanity has come to understand that the Newtonian laws of physics fail at the quantum level. At the quantum level, we encounter an entirely new set of laws, that contradict the old laws that we relied upon. The whole is no longer always equal to the sum of the parts. The whole is now always greater than the sum of the parts. This is because we are engaged in a process- of the evolution of human consciousness. We're going through a transition. We are moving from the limited perspective- of temporal reality to the limitless perspective- of quantum reality. In order to make this transition, we must thread the eye of the needle. We must shed much of the density which we acquired in our endeavor to survive in the material realm. It may be imperative to the equanimity of our future as a species called humanity on a planet called earth.

What say you?

We here at UUGCCR are specifically concerned with one thoughtform in particular. This thought form is called ‘The right to kill in self defense.' We are not claiming that this thought form is good or bad, right or wrong, valid or invalid, better or worse, as tempting as this may seem to us.... We are questioning the efficacy of this thought form. We are claiming that whether or not the thought form called the right to kill in self defense is efficacious, or not- is a matter of perspective.

Namely temporal perspectives- versus quantum perspectives. We acknowledge that in a temporal sense, if someone is trying to harm you or to kill you, and you are able to prevent them from harming you , or killing you; by harming them, or killing them before they harm you, or kill you, and they end up harmed, or dead, and you end up not harmed, or not dead, that in the short run, you were successful at least in a temporal sense- the right to kill in self Defense holds muster.

The short run, if you will, is an aspect of temporal reality. Temporal reality is the realm of appearances. Behind the veil of appearances resides the true nature of reality. The true nature of reality is not temporal in nature; It is quantum in nature- and at the quantum level, it is not possible to harm someone else- without harming oneself- because in a quantum sense we are all fractals of the one being that is called humanity.

To put it simply- it means that what comes around- goes around. From your perspective that person that you harmed, or killed was a bad person, and you were the good person, but from the perspective of that person's family, their relatives, their children; you were the bad person, and their relative that you killed was the good person, and they and their descendants go on to want to kill or to harm you or your descendants, and like the pebble dropped in still water the energy that was created in that moment of your act of violence towards them, continues to infinity. That is to say, that in the long run, at the quantum level, the short-term solution that resolved the problem at the temporal level gave way to a long term problem.

Although the thought form that is called the right to kill in self-defense may appear efficacious in a temporal sense; In a quantum sense, it is not efficacious. Quite the contrary. Like the I ching, the book of changes, when we move from temporal reality to quantum reality, things change to their opposite; the solution becomes the problem. Or to be more accurate, the dilemma becomes the lesson.

The thought form that is called the right to kill in self-defense is the root of the military-industrial complex and it is the rationale and the justification, the reasoning behind all wars regardless of which side you are on. If we reach the point in our evolution, where our ability to destroy- exceeds our ability to reason, then the progression that is driven by the thought form of the right to kill in self-defense leads inevitably to our mutually assured destruction.

On a positive note, we are only doomed, if we are unable or incapable, of propelling or compelling our capacity to reason to get ahead, and stay ahead, of our capacity for destruction.

Of course, it is possible, and even efficacious, to get involved in politics, or to participate in a demonstration, or to sit up in a tree, or to stand in front of a bulldozer, or to glue oneself to a wall, or to chain ourselves into a barricade. There is a proper time and place for everything.

However, this is not what we here at UUGCCR are talking about or advocating. What we are here to consider is about acting purely on the metaphysical level rather than the physical level; and that metaphysical action can potentially be as or even more effective, than physical action. We call this type of metaphysical action Psychic Tai Chi. We here, at UUGCCR, hereby invite and encourage everyone to participate with us in this process of Psychic Tai Chi.

The thought form that is called the right to kill in self defense has acquired massive density, perhaps as dense as a black hole. The right to kill in self-defense is the predominating principle upon which governments which have military infrastructure base and make their decisions. Namely, it is the ideology that we have this right to kill in self defense and that by killing others, is how we defend ourselves.

Individuals who may carry more etheric thought forms lack a sufficient amount of unity and cohesion, because our thoughtforms forms get sucked into, and swallowed up by the black hole of- the right to kill in self defense. The UUGCCR project is designed to provide a platform for that unity, and cohesion to coalesce to a degree of sustainability- which is capable of resisting the gravitational force of the right to kill in self defense in the morphic quantum field, that is the collective consciousness of all humanity.

This is how we can facilitate a quantum shift in the collective consciousness of all humanity, by THINKING. This is why we invite you, encourage you, beseech you and implore you, that if you resonate with these ideas about non-violence, or any ideas about non-violence, then write in your own words a declaration of nonviolence. And if you do not resonate, or if you differ with these ideas in any way, then write a statement of your position.

                                        BECAUSE

Whether you write a declaration, or a statement, in order to write, you have to think and when you think you are thinking inside the morphic quantum field, that is the collective consciousness of all humanity. Each thought is like the dropping of a pebble in still water. The cumulative effect of all the thoughts combined, in the sense of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts (i.e. harmonic resonance), if sufficiently massive will break the cycle that is generated by the thought form of the right to kill in self defense. Please, Oh Please, add your drop to the ocean. Your grain of sand to the beach.

HOW TO WRITE YOUR DECLARATION OF NON-VIOLENCE:

A Declaration of Non-Violence is a personal statement in your own words.

There are no right or wrong answers. Your declaration comes from your heart.

In order to qualify for our certification program, Your Declaration of Non-Violence must include in your own words that you challenge the efficacy of the thought-form known as the right to kill in self defence.

Step 1: Make Your Declaration

Combine your ideas into a statement. Your declaration can be short. It does not have to be paragraphs. It can be a few sentences.

Feel free to reach out for our support in writing your declaration!

Thank you for your participation and leadership.

Sincerely,

Hoot (Greg Livingston)

PART TWO

We here at UUGCCR are engaged in a process of founding, and establishing a sustainable, and intentional- faith based association, based upon a shared concept of non-violence. It has come to our attention that humans do not all, and do not always mean the same thing when they use the word non-violence. On the contrary, it turns out that people mean many different things when they use the word non-violence.

We here at UUGCCR are very specific about what we mean- when we use the term nonviolence. We define nonviolence as- an unflinching, undeterrable, adamant, and unalienable commitment- to refrain from any act, or action which, with intent, knowledge, or foresight may inflict, or tend to inflict- harm, be it physical, or otherwise- to any human being, whether directly, or indirectly- in any way, or for any reason whatsoever.

Through our consensus process, we have formed specific parameters, and guidelines (which are qualifications), which we use in order to determine whether or not we consider your declaration to be- what we consider to be- a qualified declaration of non-violence. In the event that we determine through our consensus process- that your declaration is a qualified declaration- according to our standards- we will grant you a certificate, which states that you have met the criterion established by the Board of Directors of the UUGCCR and that we consider you to be a non-violence practitioner. Your qualified declaration will entitle you to a membership in the non-violence practitioners membership coalition, which is a subsidiary of UUGCCR.

These declarations will be kept on file, and will form a database that will serve as the documentation- of a bona fide establishment of a faith based association- that is based on a shared concept (tenet or fundamental principle) of non-violence. In the event that we find your declaration to be particularly interesting- or amazingly articulate- we will invite you to allow your declaration to be published in the Declarations section of our website. In the event that your declaration does not meet our standards for certification, we will contact you and consult with you regarding the particulars, and if possible, we will help you to improve your declaration in a manner in which it can be certified. These qualified and certified declarations of non-violence are extremely important, essential, crucial, critical, and endemic to the formation of a bona fide establishment of a faith-based Association based upon a shared concept of nonviolence.

Here are some thoughts which you may wish to consider, or which may be helpful in enabling you to write your declaration:

  • #1- a thought exercise- if it appeared to you as if someone were trying to kill you, and if it appeared to you as if the only way to prevent them from killing you would be to kill them before they killed you what would you do?

  • #2- Comment- please consider that the realm of appearances is a function of temporal reality, and that behind the veil of appearances resides the true nature of reality, which is quantum in nature. To simplify is to say that things may not always be the way that they appear to be. Furthermore, the presentation of the idea- that you are ever in an either, or predicament is a dualistic perspective. The assumption that there are only two possibilities in this or in any other situation, may serve to blind us, entrap us, and may render us incapable of seeking, or of finding a solution other than kill, or be killed. On the contrary a healthy mindset could be to refuse to accept that there is no alternative to  killing, or being killed. Kill or be killed, fight, or flight may be the default setting for human consciousness. Thinking outside the box, thinking creatively, and finding an alternative is how we break the chains of Calamity and find alternatives that will enable us to have equanimity in our mutual associations.

  • #3- In my conversations with people about nonviolence I have sometimes been asked the question, do I eat meat? When I respond that sometimes I eat meat I am often accused of being a hypocrite and that I cannot claim non-violence if I eat meat, because the killing of animals is a form of violence. I would not go so far as to disagree with anyone on this point. However I will at this juncture clarify that whether or not someone eats meat, kills a tick, or swats of mosquito, is not one of the criteria that we at UUGCCR use to determine whether someone's declaration meets our standards for certification. This is a non-issue for us and here is the reasoning:

Although we acknowledge the consideration that the predominance of carnivorous activity among humans May pose a threat to the environment, as in the tearing down of the rainforest, or the production of methane gases, posing and existential threat to the existence of Humanity on a planet called earth, this existential threat, in our opinion, pales in comparison to the imminent existential threat of the rapidly cascading effects of the thought form that is called the right to kill in self-defense, which may be leading us down a path towards mutually assured destruction.

Furthermore, we are not willing to refuse, deny, or potentially alienate anyone who may challenge the efficacy of the thought form that is called the right to kill in self-defense, based upon whether or not they eat meat. For further information I refer you to the book, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by the author Dee Brown, particularly read the chapter on the Sand Creek Massacre. Furthermore, I will refer you to the fact that the Dalai Lama eats meat, that Martin Luther King ate meat, and Hopi grandfather, David Monongye, ate meat. These three, and many others, are well known non-violence practitioners. We are thoroughly supportive of anyone who chooses vegetarianism as a part of their practice of nonviolence, however, we do not support a claim that a vegetarian may make which implies that someone who may eat meat has no legitimate claim to the word nonviolence.

  • #4- We have noticed that people often use certain words interchangeably as if they all mean the same thing. These three words are nonviolence, pacifism, and ahimsa. These are three different words with three different meanings. Non-violence, unlike pacifism, does not preclude the use of physical force in order to defend oneself. The distinction as to whether or not an action can be considered violent, or nonviolent is a matter of intention. Specifically in your attempt to defend yourself on a physical level would you do so with the intention of harming the person who is trying to harm you, or conversely with the intention of not harming the person who is trying to harm you?

Another point of confusion may be the inability to distinguish between violence and aggression. Violence, and aggression are two different words with two different meanings. Specifically, if someone is acting aggressively with the intention of doing harm, then that is violence, but if they are acting aggressively but they do not have the intention of doing harm, then it does not fit the definition of violence - which is a matter of intention.

If you are in the process of writing a declaration of non-violence, we strongly encourage you to review the UUGCCR website in its entirety. We believe that this will help you to formulate your own declaration in your own words. The entire website is providing a framework and a platform to encourage you to think it through in such a way that will enable you to write a qualified Declaration of nonviolence. By writing your declaration you will be helping to catalyze a quantum shift in human consciousness in order to ensure that we humans do not end up self-destructing as a species.

Thank you for your consideration and your support and hopefully for your declaration.

Sincerely,

All of us at UUGCCR.com
